The “Update” button from the My Jobs screen has multiple purposes inside Mobile Technician.
First off, by clicking this button it will reload all of the information on the device related to the job. So if the office is making any changes to the Invoice, time stamps, or notes on the call, instructing the technician to come back to the My Jobs screen and clicking “Update” will reload all of the changes so the device has the most up-to-date information. In addition, the “Update” button also tries to reconnect the device to the server. So, when your technicians are in a situation where the device loses data connectivity please instruct them to go to the My Jobs screen and click “Update”, This will force the device to try and reconnect and will send all of the information on the device over to SuccessWare21 and update the information there.
