In SuccessWare21 you can enter a payment that is more than the total amount of the Invoice and the difference will go as a deposit on the account. However, In Mobile Technician, the tech out in the field cannot collect more than the total amount of the Invoice. I had a couple of customers ask me is it possible to collect a deposit for future work while the tech is onsite, yet not have the item be added to the invoice and affect sales, commission, compensation, etc. for that tech? Now that Mobile Technician will load up any assigned parts to tasks that are added to an Invoice you now have the ability to create kits ahead of time for jobs inside SuccessWare21, and then allow your techs to edit the kits out in the field. This way you can identify all of the parts the techs may need for an individual job, and then allow the technicians to remove any items that they may not have used right at the job site.
