I believe that Greg Dooley is scheduled to be at your location tomorrow, and your first point sounds like one to bring up. The devices are simply data-entry for time, meaning that those time reports should be available from SW21 as an output of the techs working through their day on the device.
Your other suggestion will be added to our request list immediately for consideration. Thanks, Matt!

We would like to see an option for the technicians to print out there time sheet at end of day and also our accountants would like to see a way of putting the technicians name on the printed receipts....MJ

We'd like to request a few changes/updates to SW Remote:
1 - It would be good to be able to enter Word Done earlier in the call process AND to be able to choose whether or not to print it for client on receipt.
2 - Do you have plans to allow technicians to scan in equipment bar codes directly from client's equipment and then decode the bar code and put into SW21 automatically? It would be a great plus for us...saving a lot of manaul keying. I know that not all manufacturer's barcode their equipment, but many of the major ones do.
3 - It would a nice feature to allow notes back and forth directly within SWRemote between call center and technician - out side of Job Instructions.
4 - Finally, we'd really like to be able to get to Job Instructions from viewing the schedule for a particular technician. This would help our Service Managers who are accessing SW remotely to know what the techs that report to them are scheduled to do.
Thanks.
Annie
Hi Annie,
I will certainly bring these feature requests to the attention of our team! When we hear word from our development team on any of these, we will let you know. Thanks for the great input, and keep them coming!

A few things that would be handy:
1 Sub menu's for Pull Down menu's
IE.. Work Done
Humidifiers
"Cleaned" - "Cleaned and descaled inner workings of humidifier"
"Changed Pad" - "Removed and replaced old humidifier pad with new"
Furnace
"Cleaned" - "Thoroughly cleaned the furnace inside and out, vaccuumed and wiped"
etc...
We really like to show the value to the customer for all the work that we did, and don't want to have to type everything out. We are used to writing paragraphs on each invoice listing in detail all that we did to help them feel the value for everything we charged. With sub menus, we could easily have over 300 pre written value statements neatly catagorized into 20 or so headings.
Thanks for your consideration.
Dan
We would like to see the Work Done feild show up earlier in the process, and also to print on the invoice we give to the customer. This is where we would like to show all of our value to the customer. I would love it if it were a checkbox on the admin site to not let them skip it if it were empty.
Thanks
Dan
Since battery life is the biggest issue I keep hearing from my guys. Could there be a setting that would allow a tech the ability to only update upon request (kind of like the weather app on the ES400). 12 of my guys go to one jobsite a day, they don't need to use the app for 8 hours. So they just exit the app and restart it later when it is time to bill and invoice and leave.
If they don' tleave the app, they have to bring a charger in the house with them to keep the phone charged. (Battery life is around 6 hours unplugged and running) It would be great if the Admin site let each phone have an option for allowing connectivity to be throttled, or suspended untill they need to get an update.
